iMacsoft PDF to EPUB Converter

 

With the popularity of e-books, some people probably need to convert their PDF e-books to the industry-standard ePub format. This is because general PDF files are very unreadable on small-screen e-book readers, but ePub files can adjust to fit whatever size screen your e-book reader has properly.

 

Today i spent the whole day to search & test several PDF to ePub converting programs, and finally I had my eyes on the iMacsoft PDF to EPUB Converter. It is a well designed and intuitive program, and lets users quickly extract contents (text & image) from PDF e-books and convert them to ePub format, keeping all the text, images and layout of the original PDF e-books. Step1. Free download iMacsoft PDF to EPUB converter, install and launch it. Below you see a screen shot of this program. The left area of the panel is the display panel and the right area is the operating panel along with a brief user guide.

 

 

Step2. Press the “” button or go to File -> Add Folder. This allows this program to load PDF file(s) from your computer hard drive to it. In addition, because this program support batch conversion mode, just add multiple PDF files to this program if you have multiple PDF e-books and hope to convert them to ePub format at one time.

 

Step3 (optional). Click the “” button or go to Edit -> Edit EPUB info, and the “Edit EPUB info” window will appear. In the pop-up windows, you can edit the Name, ISBN, Author, Publisher, Comments and Cover etc.

 

 

In addition, if you plan to convert PDF to EPUB Picture format, you can resizing the ePub picture by clicking Edit -> Edit ePub piction option.

 

 

Step4. Move your mouse onto the Page range box at the lower left where you can select “All Pages”, “Current Page” or “your self-selected page”. With setting page range, you can convert any part of the PDF e-book to ePub format.

 

 

Step5. Select the output file type by clicking “Profile”. A pull-down format menu will appears where you can select “EPUB Text Format” or “EPUB Picture Format” depending on your need. By the way, click the “Browse” button at the bottom of the main window to choose where you want the final ePub file saved once the PDF’s converted.

 

 

Step6. Click “Convert” button to start the PDF to ePub conversion. The conversion will be done after a few seconds and a completion screen will appear, just click the “OK” button to make the completion screen disappear.

 

 

Now you can open the output folder to check the eventual effect of the ePub files. I’ve used the iMacsoft PDF to EPUB converter to convert a PDF e-book including 10 pages, and the converted ePub file looks like the original.
