Can I Watch Movies/Videos On Nook Color?
The Barnes & Noble's Nook Color is a gorgeous LCD eBook reader for reading books, magazines and browsing web pages. Many guys who are going to buy the device are usually confused about that if Nook Color can be used for watching videos/movies. Here is several Q&A about this problem I summarized:
Q1: I just bought a new Nook Color, but when I access YouTube, it says to download adobe flash player, which is not supported by NC. What can I do?
A: I suggest you to upgrade your NC to Android 2.2 to watching YouTube video on Nook Color, cause Android 2.2 supports Flash. And Nook Color has got Android 2.2 this year (May 2011).
Q2: Can I install Netflix, Hulu or other stream movie Apps to My Nook Color?
A: Because NC runs a highly customized version of Android OS so it doesn't allow users to access the core apps like the Android Market. However, you can root or hack your NC with a special program.
