Set up and watch Amazon Instant Video on Nintendo Wii

In November last year, Amazon Instant Video and YouTube came to the Wii U simultaneously. However on 13 January, 2013, Amazon announced that the original Nintendo Wii users can also access their Instant Video streaming service. Followings are the steps to install and set up the Amazon Instant Video app on the original Nintendo Wii:

 

Step 1: From the Wii Shop Channel on the Nintendo Wii being connected to internet, Browse or search for Amazon, and then select Amazon to download the app.

 

 

Step 2: Start the Amazon Instant Video app from Nintendo Wii. When you come to the app’s home screen, click the “Register Your Device” icon, then there will a code appearing. Just make a note of it.

 

 

Step 3: Go to the Amazon Instant Video device registration page from your computer, sign in your Amazon account, then type the code you got in step 2 to complete the Wii registration process. After that, a note will pop up showing that your Wii was successfully linked to your Amazon account.

 

 

Step 4: Now the app should display movies and TV-shows for you to rent or purchase. You can browse the movies and TV-shows by genre, Most Popular, Editor's Picks and more. Or search the specified one. If you're an Amazon Prime member, you will find more than 30, 000 videos waiting you for watching for free.
